Vela Cabin Crew ("Vela," "we") is a cabin crew recruitment service operated by Luisa Ramos Portugal in Washington, DC. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and how we use it.
We do not ask for photos, date of birth, Social Security numbers, passport numbers, or financial information through this website.
We share a candidate's profile with a client only after the candidate agrees to be presented for that specific role. Client information is never shared with candidates or third parties beyond what an assignment requires. We do not sell personal information.
Background checks are conducted only with a candidate's separate written consent, through a licensed screening provider.
Form submissions are processed and stored by our website hosting provider on our behalf.
We keep applications for up to two years so we can consider you for future roles, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
You may ask to see, correct, or delete the information you sent us, or to stop being contacted, at any time by sending a request through our contact form. Applicants in the EU or UK have additional rights under the GDPR, including the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
We limit access to submitted information to the people who need it to provide our services and use reputable providers for storage.
